 Global Shortage of Computer Chips

Due to a global shortage of computer chips, PRC Accent devices temporarily shipped without the embedded IR (infrared) chip installed from late May through the end of June. The team at PRC-Saltillo thanks you for your patience as we work to resolve this supply issue.

We’re happy to report that our manufacturing team received the IR Chips in Ohio the last week of June.

What this means for you:

1. If you are waiting for your device to ship with IR, you should be receiving a call within two weeks updating you on the estimated ship date.
2. If you have already received an Accent without the IR chip, we are working on the logistics for retrofitting devices.  We will be sending out a follow up email within two weeks to let you know the process for retrofitting your device with IR capability.
