Prior to joining PRC-Saltillo, Rebecca served as a Speech/Language Pathologist and AAC Consultant for Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12.  While there she received her LAMP Certification and worked with educational staff through the process to become a LAMP Center of Excellence.  While in the school system, she provided ongoing therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language disorders ages 3 to 21, conducted AAC evaluations, and consulted with educational teams to select and implement AAC systems in the educational environment. Rebecca also presented locally and regionally to speech/language pathologists, teachers, para educators, and occupational therapists on AAC implementation.  Most recently she worked for the Center for AAC and Autism as a LAMP Educator which gave her the opportunity to present workshops across the country teaching on the LAMP methodology for AAC intervention. Rebecca also served as a mentor to professionals as they completed LAMP certification,  coordinated webinar presentations, assisted in the creation of self-study modules, and presented at national conferences.

Rebecca holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), a state license in Speech-Language Pathology from the State of Pennsylvania, and is a member of ASHA’s Special Interest Division 12 (AAC Division).
