instructor imageAmanda Moreno, B.S., graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in East Texas with her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She spent three years as a resource teacher and coach in public and private school before she began her real pursuit and passion to work with students with severe disabilities. Amanda was the main Kurzweil trainer for HISD and facilitated the first iPad pilot program and the 1:1 laptop distribution to all high school students, including all special education students. Amanda has had extensive training with Region IV in Texas and has presented at state and one national conference. She is also a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s Special Children’s Committee.
