Save the date for the inaugural Appalachian AAC Summit—Friday, March 6, 2026!
Make plans to gather with other AAC professionals like you at Appalachian State University. Expect a day of learning, sharing, mentoring, collaborating, and hands-on exploration! Special guest speakers will include local AAC professionals and ambassadors. Teachers, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), occupational therapists (OTs), and anyone who is curious about AAC are encouraged to attend.

PRC-Saltillo’s Appalachian consultants organize the Summit to support AAC capacity building across the region. This strengthens community and networking bonds between regional AAC evaluators, ambassadors, and team members. When professionals unite to share knowledge and build connections, AAC thrives for communicators across North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
The inaugural Summit promises to be a full day of learning, sharing, and connecting on a variety of topics that have lifespan impact. If you’re curious about growing in AAC, we hope you will join us!
As we look forward to the first Summit, expand your AAC knowledge by joining the Appalachian team Tuesdays online for topical sessions.
