Summer is just around the corner! Congratulations to all the rock-star professionals for an incredible academic year of helping others find their voice through AAC. Here are seven ways to rock on with AAC this summer! Which one will you choose?

Exchange ideas on Jane’s Place

A true rock star for AAC, Jane Odom enjoyed making engaging materials for those using AAC and their communication partners. And she encouraged others to do the same. Jane’s Place—an online space to exchange implementation resources that support individuals who use AAC—was created to honor Jane’s memory. You’ll find fun materials for your learners and be inspired to share your creations…because AAC rocks!

Sign up for AAC coaching for professionals

AAC Pro Coaching Clinic features the benefits of a coach and a group! Join a cohort of professionals eager to rock their communication partner skills, learn about new resources, and network with others. Get ready to learn from an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist with extensive AAC experience. Learn more and register for the six-week virtual clinic in June/July.

Take an eLearning course with Gail Van Tatenhove

Gail M. Van Tatenhove, P.A., M.S., CCC/SLP is passionate about helping students engage with curriculum through descriptive teaching. With Gail’s new intermediate-level course, The Descriptive Teaching Method, you can learn directly from her extensive knowledge through videos and interactive materials. Take the course at your own pace from any location and you’ll be prepared to implement this approach in your practice.
