Rachel Prevost

Rachel Prevost, M.S., CCC-SLP, earned a bachelor's degree from University of Georgia in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2004 and a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2008. Prior to joining PRC-Saltillo, Rachel owned a private practice and worked across school districts in Washington county, Oregon, as an AAC Consultant with Northwest Regional Education Service District (NWRESD). In addition to her work in private practice and in the school setting, Rachel has worked clinically in a variety of settings including inpatient rehabilitation, early intervention and skilled nursing facilities. As an AAC Consultant with NWRESD, Rachel provided trainings to school staff and parents related to the use of AAC tools to support the language skills of students. In private practice Rachel provided evaluations and therapeutic support to pediatric and adult clients with feeding and communication disorders.

Rachel holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and a state license in Speech-Language Pathology from the State of Oregon and is a member of the Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) ASHA Community.
