We’re also pleased to sponsor the 27th Annual Edwin and Esther Prentke AAC Distinguished Lecture to honor the life and work of the late Edwin (PRC-Saltillo co-founder) and Esther Prentke. The lecture takes place during the in-person conference on Friday, January 26 at 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (Eastern Time) in Grand Ballroom 7A and will be live streamed for free as part of the ATIA 2024 Virtual Event.
Karanveer Singh, the 2024 Prentke AAC Distinguished Lecturer, will share his perspective in his lecture, Finding Your Passion, which will demonstrate the passion, insight, and humor of a young man with cerebral palsy who uses eye gaze to communicate with the world with an AAC device. Karanveer will share his journey and how assistive technology and AAC have helped him access his passions of writing, video editing, and public speaking. He also enjoys working with students with disabilities because he feels connected to them.
